I want to do this tutorial to show you how I made this Gift Bag.  First I used this bag I bought from Michael's, it measures 4 5/8” x 8 1/2”.  I cut  3 inches off the top.

Next  I folded the flap down in order to glue on my design paper which measures 4 3/4” x  5 1/2”.

Here are the supplies I used.  The Design paper under the bag measures 4 3/4” x  7 1/4”.  Scored at 1 1/2.  This piece is glued on to the back of the bag with the folded edge extending at the top.  I then glued my front on to the bag which measures  4 3/4” x  5 1/2”.  If you want to add a sentiment to the paper, do it before you glue the paper down.
A cute scalloped edge was cut out with  Die-namics Small Scallop Border.  I sewed this onto the flap, but if you want you could glue it on. Don’t forget to add a sentiment at the top.

I colored and framed  the Pure Innocence - Don't Open Until stamp, Using sticky strip, I positioned the top third of my sweet PI to the flap.

bag finished

Here is the finished product.  This is a nice size gift package and would hold a lot of different gifts.   Hope you can play along, I’m excited to see what you can come up with!!
