CCEE and Little Paper Shop

Happy Birthday Frances!

Time for our CCEE Challenge. Our challenge this week is another brought to us by Frances Byrne. One of Frances' favorite new things to create are scaplings so this week's CCEE challenge is to create a scrapling. For those of you who haven't heard of scraplings before you can see a few more on Frances' blog here.

Scraplings are normally 1.25" x 4.25" because they are often made from the off cuts you get when you make a square card (4.25" square) from a piece of card that is 4.25" x 5.5". However you can make your scraplings a little wider depending on what you are working on at the time.

I hope you can play along.

Also please check the Little Paper Shop Blog for a fun Challenge Monday Morning.
I made an extra card this week in honor of France's Birthday. If you want to wish Frances Happy Birthday, go on over to her blog. Stamp Owl's Studio!!!!

Frances Happy Birthday I am so honored to be able to call you my friend.

STAMPS: First card, Little Paper Shop {Flyin' By} Second card, High hopes. (Owl)
INK: Copic Markers

High Hopes Sketch Challenge

High Hopes Challenge #17!! - Sketchy Time!! I couldn't resist the sketch Katharina has designed for High Hopes. To view the sketch click here.

I just received my new order from Stampin' Up, and just love this designer series paper. It's called Parisian Breeze. Page 158 of the catty. It's textured and I just love the look of it. I also had to have the Baja Breeze 1" Double-Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, to go with it. My little tag is a Sizzlits die --Stampin' Up Lots of Tags! Page 201. And the leaves are Little Leaves, page 200.

My Faux Silk is a piece of Mulberry Paper run though the cuttlebug with some blue ink. Hope I don't get the buzzer, for not using a stamp on my silk. Shhhhhhhhhhh don't tell Cindy aka MotherMark.
