PI Best Medicine
We are very excited to show you our new line up of stamps for May!! You are going to see lots of awesome new sets, as you are hopping along.
This sweet little gal is PI Best Medicine, she is a sweetie!! I wanted to show you how I make a quick and easy card! I start with a image, color it and then cut it out leaving a 1/8 inch of white showing all around it. By cutting out your image you can pop it on just about any sketch layout.
PI Best Medicine all colored and cutout ready for a card!!
I usually color my image to match some design paper I have laying on my desk. Then I find a die that is about 4 inches, cut TWO different papers with it. Add a ribbon and a sentiment, and you have a quick and easy card!!
I often color and cutout images in the evening while I watch T.V. with my hubby, then I’m ready to create any sketch or challenge that comes my way!!
What I used on my Quick and Easy card:
For this card, I combined several sets. Meet Emma and Wyatt, Stephanie Fizer - Sheltering Tree Stamp Set, and Clearly Sentimental about Fathers. I colored Emma, the tree, squirrel and owls, and then cut them out. I added some die cuts, you can use the new Die-namics The brown paper I just ripped, then played around until I got a layout I was pleased with.
I really enjoy making these scenes and MFT has so many images to play with, the sky is the limit!!
What I used on my card:
- STAMPS: MFT (Meet Emma and Wyatt, Stephanie Fizer - Sheltering Tree Stamp Set, and Clearly Sentimental about Fathers)
- INK: Copic Ciao
- Paper: Dp
- Spellbinder dies, corner round punch
